About the Industry Advisory Board

The IAB includes invited individuals selected among alumni and employers. The selection criteria were based on their strong commitment and support to increase the quality of department educational activities. The IAB includes Directors and C-Suite executives from major technology companies, private industry, and large-scale government operations. The IAB, with their experience and expertise, provides feedback to continuously improve SHSU’s Computer Science programs to better prepare both faculty and students to meet the constantly changing workforce needs and to improve academic partnerships so they can meet the needs of the university and its community.
